For Sale: Pair of size 3 Easyboot epics

They were the wrong size, my mare was unsound for a long time just as they arrived and it was too late to change them by the time I realized. They are unused and still in the box.  I think they were about £150, I would accept £80 for them.

For Sale: MAN 8163 7.5T Horsebox

Spacious and very well maintained sleeps 2/3, sink, gas hob, leisure battery and power inverter, seating, wardrobe, generous storage. Split door to large horse area, up to height padded partitions, rug rack, extra windows for light and ventilation, horses travel happily.  Reverse and horse area cameras, tinted windows, horse shower.  Very clean and tidy cab, quiet engine and easy drive.  Ideal eventing or family Pony Club box.  Well designed 2008 conversion on 1998 registered chassis.  Plated April 2012.  Best in price range. Price £17,000 OVNO.

I had this built for me because, in 6 months of looking, I could not find anything half decent or horse safe for my budget.  Unfortunately a lot of them are nothing more than a shiny paint job.  The MAN engines are considered the best diesel engines, I turned down a Mercedes for this chassis.  The coachbuilders were ex huntsmen so everything about the layout is really practical.  This has been a super box and only for sale as I'm downsizing (take that as Joey on/off lame!!).

Free to Loving Home:

16.1 ID/TB chestnut mare 19 years young.  She has always been sound and has no vices; she has had the same home for 14 years, has excellent ground manners, has been living out 24/7 and is easy to do.  Her owner no longer has time to give her the attention she deserves.  She is not a novice ride as she is sensitive and forward going but she is good to box, shoe and hack.  She would be suitable as a leisure hack/companion.  See a photograph.

Lorry for Sale:

7.5 Tonne 3 horse lorry with 4mths tax and MOT, was re-sprayed this year, does have a living area but this needs gas and water plumbing in, would be very easy to do but we do not use it so have not bothered.  Really good runner, we have done some very long journeys in it with no problems.  We have been told that the EBRO engines were built for the army.  The box, ramp, etc. are all in fantastic condition and we had all the bits that needed welding done this year when it was re-sprayed so it is in very good condition.

We are not using it at present hence why for sale and it is a waste to have it sat there.  Any more questions just ask and if you want any more pics I can email them over to you.

Horse for Permanent Loan/Sale

My lovely 16hh, 12yr old Hanoverian x Connemara x Russian Don chestnut mare with a lovely, sweet temperament is looking for a special home.  She was broken using natural horsemanship and Parelli ground work.  She has hunted, done PC, RC and a little X-country; she is good to shoe, box etc. but is not a novice ride.  She is happy to hack out alone or in company and is a fantastic comfortable ride.
Now she is looking for a special home with someone who can offer her time, love and consistency so that they may enjoy an amazing horse.  Sadly, she is available due to lack of time and my work commitments.
Based in Launceston, Cornwall.  If you are interested, please see the three photographs (1, 2 and 3), and if you would like to know more then please contact me.

Horse for Sale

Jasper is looking for a kind, loving permanent home.  He is a 5 year old 16.2hh, bay gelding and he is very nicely bred, out of a Wineburg mare and by Carentino Glory.  He is for sale as he is a homebred (that was bred to sell) and, as we are losing some land, we need to down size on horses.

He is a LBI/LBE with some RB tendencies when pushed through thresholds.  He was started at 3½  years old, and was lightly, hacked, schooled and jumped.  He showed mild signs of ataxia; this was investigated but nothing conclusive was found.  He had the winter off, and the vet reviewed him last week saying he would pass a vetting and giving him the all clear, and he is now in the process of being re started.

He will be an ideal levels horse for someone, he is just dying to be someone's one and only.  See Jasper in the Circling Game: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wa7Phvu9_Dw

Horses for Sale/Loan

Kimba: 14.3hh Bay Cob type mare age 10yrs.

Very pretty lady that has had a hard start in life.  A very talented and clever horse, but doesn’t suffer fools gladly.  She has been lightly backed and has done some work in walk, trot and a minimal amount of canter.  She has also shown a talent for lateral work – understanding leg yield and shoulder in within a matter of minutes.  She is an extremely light and responsive ride, who is now looking for a full time mum/dad to give her the time and devotion she deserves.  Due to the minimal amount of ridden work, she will require someone with experience.  Unshod and lives out.  £800

Petor: 15.1hh Bay Thoroughbred gelding age 10yrs.

He is a very sweet, quiet and genuine natured horse that desperately needs some one to one attention.  He raced as a two year old and has since found the transition from race horse to ridden horse easy.  He has an amazing elastic trot with the elevation required for the more advanced dressage levels.  He is a snaffle mouth at all times and is able to hack out alone and in company.  He is one of the most careful and considerate horses I have ever had dealings with, however he needs someone that is now able to offer him the time, love and devotion he deserves to allow him to develop to fulfill his full potential.  He lives out in a herd and is unshod, but would also be more than happy to come into a cosy stable at night.  He does have a wheat intolerance which was recently discovered, therefore has been difficult for him to gain weight.  He is not looking good at the moment, as calorie intake has reduced due to change of food, plus lack of grass.  He does also crib which has been with him since his racing days.  Please don’t be put off by his vices, as he is a truly loving, kind and gentle horse.  He hasn’t done a great deal of ridden work in the past year so will need to be bought back into things gradually and sympathetically.  Free to good kind, loving home with time and plenty of grass.

Bridgehill Ferryman: Registered Welsh Yearling Section B x Riding Pony gelding.

Lovely, genuine nature and will do well as a child's show pony. Stunning movement and a joy to watch. Sire: Bridgehill Regal Boy Dam: Powys Fantasy  £800

Star: 12.2hh Bright Bay Registered Welsh Section B mare age 13yrs.

She is one in a million and a mothers dream. She has an amazing jumping ability and is able to compete in any discipline. She has competed at both show jumping and jumpcross and she stands out from the crowd at a show.  She has good conformation and paces and is only for loan as she is wasted at present.  She has bags of potential and is looking for a new best friend.  This pony has taught me loads and is perfect to handle in every way. Unshod and lives out.  For Loan

Melton: 16.3 Bay Thoroughbred gelding age 10yrs

Melton has had an exceptionally difficult life, having come from a racing background, although he never made it to the track due to the difficulties of starting him.  He has good breeding – Sire: Northern Legend.  He is a dream to handle on the ground and has the most loving gentle nature.  It has taken years to build his confidence and allow him to be the stunning horse that he can be.  He has had his issues being backed due to previous treatment, however he is now able to be sat on but is still requiring more work and time. Melton requires an exceptionally special person who is willing to take the time it takes, and with the confidence to hold his hoof when he needs it.  He is unshod and lives out, would not cope with a traditional livery yard environment and only likes to be in a stable for a short period of time, or until hay runs out.  He hasn’t done a great deal of ridden work in the past year so will need to be bought back into things gradually and sympathetically.  £1200

Horse Needs Re-homing

He is a lovely grey Arab, a perfect gentleman on the ground but has a problem being ridden.  He is 11 years old, 14.2 hands and a very good doer so would suit a non-riding home.  The present owner has spent a lot of time with him but has now ran out of time and wants him to have a good home.  Martha has been teaching the owner and knows the horse well; he has done a lot of ANH and is very good and quick to learn.

15.3hh Grey Gelding For Sale

Spider is is Welsh Cob X TB and rising 15 years old.  He was bred by us and is a very easy horse to look after.  He is tidy in the box, give him a big haynet and he is quite happy to watch the world go by!  He is good to load and travels quite happily.  He has ‘babysat’ a number of ponies and he is always the one I turn out ‘newbies’ with as he is not aggressive in anyway – he is actually more likely to be the one bullied!  He loves to be groomed and fussed over.

Spider is also quite a quirky horse – he lacks confidence mostly.  Nothing terrible has happened to him – he has competed in dressage gaining up to 70% as he works in a natural outline.  But jumping – he can get worried by it, although he has a lovely technique over a fence he is not at all confident if his rider loses balance – and I feel jumping is just not his thing!!

I now feel that he does deserve a more interesting life!  I find it hard to get time to do anything with him and he thrives on routine and would certainly benefit from some continuity.  I am looking at the natural horsemanship route as I feel he really needs to get to know someone to trust them and feel confident.  He will stay with me if I can’t find the perfect person as he really is no trouble and that is better than the thought of him being sold on . He does windsuck which is part of his personality – but strangely I don’t really notice it.  Understandably he does it more when stressed - it has never bothered him.  He is happy to live out (even spending a whole winter out with no rug on!)

This is only a small account of Spider's story – so if the perfect person is out there – then they would certainly have a very special horse!!
